Enterprise operational service endorsed for all secure messaging, secure transactions and electronic signature requirements of the department with partners secured across the public Internet

Statewide procedures and work instructions based on legal advice from Clayton Utz

Electronic Delivery of Event and Discharge Summaries to community partners from majority of Health Service Districts (business units include Medical Services, Outpatients Clinics, Emergency, Liver Transplant Unit, Neonatal Unit, Health Information Services, Pharmacy, Residential Aged Care, Community Care, Mental Health)

Directors of Medical Departments, Senior Medical Officers (SMOs) and Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) electronically authorising patient letters and assessment of clinical urgency of referrals received

Strong Authentication Service and supporting components for business applications to integrate two-factor authentication of users remote or external to customers network, or accessing the network or information assets through wireless devices

Drugs of Dependence Unit receiving S8 drug scripts electronically from 90% community pharmacists (replacing manual entry of 400,000 paper prescriptions per annum)

VIVAS Immunisation data-synchronisation with Medicare Australia

HealthConnect event summary exchange with community partners (GPs, Diabetes Clinics and private hospitals)

Capability for Radiology Orders and Results electronic authorisation and exchange with private radiology labs
